Individual approval of completed vehicles
Individual approval is the administrative procedure to certify that a particular vehicle, whether unique or not, complies with the administrative provisions and technical requirements set out in Royal Decree 750/2010.
AEV has been appointed technical service for individual approval of completed vehicles (multi-stage approval) by the Ministry of Industry, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 750/2010, governing motor vehicle and trailer approval procedures.
As the officially appointed technical service, once the vehicle has been inspected (where necessary), we issue the report that is sent to the Ministry of Industry along with all other documentation from the manufacturer so the individual approval certificate may be obtained, allowing the vehicle to be registered. If necessary, AEV can carry out the tests required to justify compliance with a regulatory act affected by the vehicle’s body structure, provided that the regulatory act is included in the technical appendix of its accreditation.
Any manufacturers who transform a vehicle and need to approve it must be registered in the Register of Manufacturing Firms and their Ministry Representatives (RFFR, using its Spanish acronym) and be in possession of a valid Production Conformity Certificate (UCA).For any queries about this service, please email homologacion@aev.metroradio.org
